BACK 2 BEAT - These lads have to be seen to be believed, formed in 2007, Back2Beat are a 4 piece, all live band that are as close as you are going to get to re-living the 60's without chasing a named band.

They ooze class,style and with visual's to match. you are in for one cracking night of all live music and dance. Great attention has been paid to the look and professionalism of the show, that i would defy anybody not to be impressed with what they see and hear. All the gear is period matched and the lads look smart & classy in their black suits and their repetroire consists of standards that you'de expect from a well accomplished act, but also includes songs that just don't get heard all that often.

The band, led & formed by, Alan Dowson on vocs/Guitar - played along side non other than Gerry Marsden in Gerry & the Pacemeakers in 2004 as Gerry's lead guitarist and guitar tech. So he knows what it takes to put on a show of the highest calibre. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to bere on the show with his uncanny playing ability. known as "The Guitarman" , Alan not only has a great voice. but makes the guitar sing. His ability to play The Shadows music note perfect is something that needs to be witnessed to be believed. As the great Bruce Welch once said to him, "You sound just like Hank".

Along side Alan is Jamie who is another great asset to the show, bringing his immeasurable talent to bere with his playing ability on both guitar and Ukelele. In fact, if this guy had more arms, he would be a complete band as he also plays Bass,Drums,Keyboard as well as numerous other instruments with uncanny ease. Jamie is no stranger to performing as he has done so since the age of 5 and has performed in theatre and panto alongside some great names and some great bands. Coupled with Steve on Bass and Phil on drums, who deliver the solid back bone sound of the band, Back2Beat will rock your socks off and take you back in time
to when great music was synonimous with great musicians.
